"I am so pleased to write a review for John Farrell at The Chatham Carpentry Company. My husband Ralph and I met John at a golf course over two years ago and learned he had a carpentry business. It was perfect timing as we had been talking about making several renovations at our home.

We asked John to come by our home and provide us with a proposal to basically gut our first-floor bedroom as well as our sunroom. John was so responsive we immediately hired him to take on this project while we were in Florida for the winter season. This created a challenge not being at the house while John was doing the renovations but John would FaceTime us so we could see the work being done and answer any questions he had. What incredible work John does! He is meticulous, creative and goes above and beyond in everything he does! He worked each day methodically and he was very neat. John pays amazing attention to detail. John surprised us several times by using his expertise to be creative and bring additional detail and beauty to our home. An example was in renovating our sunroom. John not only replaced the windows, but he took the time to be creative and he matched the molding around the windows he replaced to other windows in the house. This was no easy feat as our home is over 150 years old and the molding around the windows is very detailed.

After our bedroom and sunroom renovations were complete, we then partnered with John to renovate our shed into a lovely alternative living space as well as replace our outside shower and re-shingle a large section of our house. Again, the completed projects were amazing! His work was top notch and he finished again on time.
